GOAT OBSERVATIONS: Rhodes Peak and surrounding area In recent years, the Mountain Goat herd that inhabits the southern end of the Great Burn has experienced a startling population decline. Idaho Fish and Game and the Forest Service have very little information on this herd. Any sightings are appreciated- particularly to get a better sense of home range and herd size. Project Timeframe: This can be done any time of the year! Required Gear: Camera, binoculars, GPS* |
